(VOvworld) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam praised the achievements by the culture, sports and tourism sectors last year and called for better preservation of traditional cultural values while promoting the development of culture, sports and tourism. Vietnam had 3 more heritages recognized by UNESCO last year, including the Trang An relic in Ninh Binh province, Nguyen royal documents and Nghe Tinh’s Vi Dam folk singing. The tourism sector generated 230 trillion dong, a 15% increase over the year. The sector will focus on its implementation of the Politburo resolution on culture and arts, improving the all people movement on cultural lifestyle and participating in international sport events.
