Da Nang, Quang Ninh welcome first-footers of Lunar New Year 2023
(VOVWORLD) - The central coastal city of Da Nang welcomed the first international flight of the Year of the Cat, carrying 170 passengers from Incheon, South Korea.

Upon their arrival, the guests, carried by Vietnamese budget carrier Vietjet, were treated to a lively welcome ceremony with lion dances and presented with gifts.
Da Nang is expected to receive 768 international and domestic flights with more than 98,000 passengers during the Lunar New Year holiday 2023 which runs from January 20 to 26.

The same day, 250 tourists from different countries on board the luxury cruise ship Silver Spirit became the first foreign visitors to the northern border province of Quang Ninh in the Year of the Cat.
Quang Ninh, home to UNESCO-recognized Ha Long Bay, is Silver Spirit’s first docking point during its first voyage of the Lunar New Year 2023.
The ship's next destinations are Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
