(VOVWORLD) - More than 100 lecturers and students from Da Nang University of Medicine and Pharmacy arrived in Phu Yen province on Sunday to help fight COVID-19 there.

Le Thi Thuy, the University’s Vice Rector, said that the participants had been well trained in testing, contact tracing, and collecting samples for COVID-19 tests.
“The COVID-19 situation in Phu Yen province remains very worrisome, so we asked our students and lecturers to voluntarily participate in pandemic prevention and control,” said Thuy.
As of Sunday, Phu Yen had recorded more than 300 cases of COVID-19.
