(VOVworld) – Da Nang Municipal People’s Committee has collected the city staff and people’s opinions regarding a draft project to name Da Nang roads after those of the islands in the Hoang Sa or Paracel archipelagos. Hoang Sa island district was established in January 1997.

It is a coral archipelago about 170 nautical miles (approximately 315 km) from Da Nang City. The district covers several islands namely Hoang Sa, Da Bac, Huu Nhat, Da Loi, Bach Quy, Tri Ton, Dao Cay, Bac, Giua, Nam, Phu Lam, Linh Con, Quang Hoa, Con Bong Bay, Con Quan Sat, Con Cat Tay, Da Chim Yen, and Da Thap.
