The 139 kilometer road section has an investment capital of more than 34.5 trillion dong. It has shortened automobile trip from Da Nang to Quang Ngai to just above one hour. Speaking in the event, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the importance of the project in promoting trade and investment, social economic and security development in the central region while contributing to connectivity between Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam along the East – West economic corridor.
