Declaration of COVID-19 as nationwide epidemic aims to mobilize consensus of entire political system
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has entered the 3rd phase of the fight against COVID-19 since the first case was detected in the country more than 2 months ago, said Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam.

Mr. Dam, who is also head of the national stering committee for COVID-19 prevention and control explained the Prime Minister’s decision to declare COVID-19 an nationwide epidemic:
“The move aims to consolidate the consensus of the whole political system, fuel the fighting spirit, and improve public awareness of their responsibility in the battle against COVID-19. All forces involved in the fight will benefit from the Government’s preferential policies.”
