Mr. Lich said the National Committee on ASEAN 2020 and the Defence Ministry have embarked on preparations for ASEAN defence and military conferences in 2020. He said Vietnam hopes to receive further support from the ASEAN Secretariat, especially in building an agenda, initiative consultation, and professional training for secretaries of meetings, during and after the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) and ADMM Plus meetings to be hosted by Vietnam next year.

Mr. Hoi said he will help Vietnam next year when it assumes the ASEAN Chair.
