(VOVworld) – A Vietnamese high-level military delegation led by Politburo member, Defense Minister, General Phung Quang Thanh is on an official visit to China from October 16-19.
The visit is being made at the invitation of member of the Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee, Defense Minister, senior lieutenant-general Chang Wanquan.
The visit aims to reach a common view on security issues in each nation and the world.
The two sides will also seek measures to boost defense cooperation in the future and confirm that national defense is one of the most important pillars in bilateral ties, nurturing healthy and lasting relations.
