Louise Holmsgaard, Denmark’s Deputy Ambassador, during her opening address, said the contest welcomes the participation of all primary school children who love painting, across Vietnam.
She said: “The submitted paintings could tell us, the adults, how children perceive environmental problems that our planet experiences and maybe even how to improve the situation that could be a lot of food for thought for all of us.”
Pham Phu Binh, Deputy Chairman of Vietnam – Denmark Friendship Association, said the contest encourages the children to share their messages on building a green globe and to tighten the friendship and understanding of the two nation’s cultures.
Western Hanoi School's students join the competition at the launch ceremony.
