(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has extended his greetings to Vietnamese journalists on the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day on June 21 and emphasized the media’s crucial contributions to combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Dam was speaking at a regular press conference at VOV headquarters in Hanoi on Tuesday.
“The media has proved its indisputable role in the fight against COVID-19. Thanks to the media, Vietnam’s successes in this struggle have been recognized worldwide. It’s necessary to fine-tune the media to make it stronger and more professional,” said Mr. Dam.
Voice of Vietnam President Nguyen The Ky said VOV is designing a plan to become a multimedia, multiplatform, and multilanguage organization.
