The diplomat told the press that during meetings with Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh, the German officials agreed to enhance the two countries’ strategic partnership in the time to come. They also affirmed that they will work to have the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) signed and ratified as soon as possible. The Vietnamese and German officials also shared their views on many international and regional issues of common concern. They expressed their wish to lift the bilateral strategic partnership to new heights and increase reciprocal visits at all levels as well as to set up a new action plan to implement their strategic partnership.
