(VOVworld) - Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh received outgoing Cambodian Ambassador Hul Phany in Hanoi on Wednesday.

Mr. Minh said he hopes that in any future position ambassador Hul Phany will continue to boost friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries and the two ministries.
On President Tran Dai Quang’s authority the same day, Deputy Foreign Minister Vu Hong Nam presented the Friendship Order to Ambassador Hul Phany in honor of his contributions to fostering the fine neighborliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, and long-term sustainability between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Deputy PM Minh also hosted a reception for German Ambassador Christian Berger, who is concluding his term of office in Vietnam. Mr. Minh said German businesses will increase their presence in Vietnam, especially in the areas of high-tech, green and recycled energy, infrastructure, and logistics.
Ambassador Berger said Germany supports Vietnam in strengthening cooperation with EU countries, adding that both nations will continue to promote key projects to further bolster their strategic partnership.
The two sides agreed to push the signing of a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the EU.
