(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has stressed flexible solutions for food producers and transport businesses given the long-term anti-pandemic tasks in Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Dam, who is also Head of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, inspected COVID-19 prevention and control at a number of production, trade and service establishments in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday.
Local enterprises pledged efforts to organize outsourcing production to maintain supply while implementing safety measures.
Vissan, a supplier of processed and fresh food, said that the company has rearranged production and linked qualified facilities of processing, packaging, and transportation to maintain 80% of its supply capacity.
Tikinow Smart Logistics Co., Ltd., a logistics and transportation enterprise, said it is making efforts to implement contactless delivery, recommending the city to prioritize COVID-19 vaccination for delivery workers.
