Deputy PM inspects preparation for UN Vesak Day 2019
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh has asked for thorough preparations for the UN Vesak Day 2019 to be held in Tam Chuc pagoda, Ha Nam province.
During a visit on Thursday to inspect the preparations for the event, the Deputy Prime Minister urged relevant ministries, sectors, and localities to accelerate their preparatory work to ensure the effectiveness, security and safety of the event. He asked Ha Nam province to finalize infrastructure construction as scheduled for the event.
The UN Day of Vesak 2019 event will be held from May 12 to 14. More than 10,000 people from 100 countries and territories around the world will attend the event.
