Speaking at a meeting to review 5 years of implementing supportive policies for ethnic resettlement in Lao Cai province, the Deputy Prime Minister said the supportive policy must ensure rapid and sustainable poverty reduction for poor communes, especially ethnic groups in remote and border areas for security and social order. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc: “Relevant agencies including the Ministries of Finance, Investment and Planning will strengthen resources and management in the program. This will ensure equal development among ethnic groups in Vietnam in line with the Party guidelines and State policy.”
