Deputy PM pledges favorable conditions for Japanese investors

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh on Wednesday pledged to create the best conditions for businesses from the two prefectures of Kanagawa and Gunma and Japan in general when investing in Vietnam.

Deputy Prime Minister Minh met Governor of Kanagawa prefecture Yuji Kuroiwa and Governor of Gunma prefecture Ichita Yamamoto on Wednesday as part of his working visit to Japan.
Mr. Minh praised the efforts of the two localities in organizing cultural exchange activities with Vietnam even during the epidemic period, saying this will contribute to enhancing mutual understanding between the two countries’ peoples.
For their part, both Governors pledged efforts to promote economic and cultural exchanges with Vietnam and expressed their intention to receive more Vietnamese interns. Governor Kuroiwa briefed on the prefecture's plan to resume the Vietnam Festival in Kanagawa in September and the Kanagawa Festival in Vietnam in November this year.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Minh met with officials of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese Intellectuals Association in Japan. He called on the Embassy to continue to bridge the two countries in all fields and the Association to strengthen the connection of the Vietnamese intellectual network in Japan, contributing to the development of Vietnam and the extensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan.
On Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh will attend the 27th Conference on the Future of Asia (FOA) hosted by Nikkei Group.
