Vietnam will provide concrete guidance in implementing joint cooperation with Venezuela in industry, energy, agriculture and training as planned, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai said while receiving Venezuelan Deputy Foreign Minister Davis Velasquez Caraballo in Hanoi yesterday.

Hai said Vietnam and Venezuela have seen strong development in friendship and comprehensive cooperation in politics, diplomacy, trade, investment, energy, oil, gas, culture, and education. Hai affirmed that Vietnam will closely examine the implementation of the cooperative agreements signed between the two countries in industry, energy, agriculture, and education. Caraballo said he hopes the two countries will make more efforts to establish investment cooperation in industry, agriculture, tourism, and telecommunications. The two sides agreed to support each other at international multilateral forums, making a positive contribution to protecting their legitimate rights and the development of the two countries.
