(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Uganda share great potentials and benefits for cooperation and development. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said while receiving his Uganda counterpart Henry Kajura on Friday in Hanoi.

Mr. Phuc said the two countries needed to promote delegation exchange, sign important legal documents and boost cooperation in agreements on double taxation avoidance, investment protection and in banking sector. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his hope that Uganda will continue to support Vietnam in the bid to run for a seat in the UNESCO Standing Committee in 2015-2019 period, the United Nations Economic and Social Council in 2016-2018 term and the United Nations Security Council in 2021-2022 term.
