(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh acknowledged the role of Vietnamese and foreign experts in helping Vietnam improve traffic safety.

Speaking at a conference of the National Committee for Traffic Safety in Hanoi on Thursday, Mr. Binh said the Committee received 90 studies regarding traffic safety in 2016 and half of them have been applied to improve traffic management.
However, dense traffic has surpassed the infrastructure capacity and the number of traffic accidents have risen. Mr. Binh said: “I expect the delegates have scientific analyses of traffic accidents and congestion issues in order to find effective solutions.”
