(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh asked World Bank (WB) Vice President for East Asia and the Pacific Victoria Kwakwa to encourage WB stakeholders to help Vietnam graduate from the International Development Association (IDA) as scheduled and continue gaining access to IDA loans beyond 2017.

At a meeting with Ms. Kwakwa on Thursday, Mr. Minh expressed his hope that the World Bank will continue its coordinating role in obtaining loans to help Vietnam deal with developmental challenges. Ms. Kwakwa promised to continue promoting cooperation between Vietnam and the World Bank.
