Vietnamese officials and representatives of donor countries have gathered in Hanoi to review past dialogues on anti-corruption in Vietnam. Since 2007, Vietnam has hosted 9 rounds of dialogues with foreign donors to make the fight against corruption more effective. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc addressed Tuesday event: “Corruption is hindering Vietnam’s development. At this meeting, the international community will be well informed about Vietnam’s anti-corruption policies and legislation. We’ll listen and treasure our partners and friends’ ideas, initiatives and experiences in combating corruption.”
