Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended the event.

The VssID app, which is available on both IOS and Android platforms, provides users with information on their social insurance history, social insurance codes, medical clinics for social insurance card holders as well as places for paying insurance fees.

Prime Minister Phuc spoke highly of the application and urged for duplication so that more people can easily access insurance services. 

He said the app helps people make full use of services and policies for health, social and unemployment insurance, especially as 91 percent of Vietnam’s population have joined health insurance services.
