At an international workshop themed “Radio digital transformation - from international and Vietnamese practice” held on Friday in Thanh Hoa province as part of the 16th National Radio Festival, Mr. Quang emphasized human resource as first and foremost issue of digital transformation.

People must change their mindset, their working habits, and management style to create a new production process and higher quality, more appealing journalistic products. For digital transformation to truly come to life, first of all, a change in mindset is needed among journalists themselves, especially the heads of media agencies, he added.

The VOV Vice President said he hopes that the presentations by international and domestic experts will be an extremely valuable source of information to better understand digital transformation and make it suitable to the specific conditions and capabilities.

Mr. Quang thanked experts from the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), Australia's ABC News, NHK Japan, Türkiye's Central Radio and Television Station, and Malaysia for sharing to Vietnamese delegates their experiences and applicability in digital transformation.
