(VOVWORLD) - Activities are being held across Vietnam to help disadvantaged people celebrate Tet, Vietnam’s Lunar New Year.

The Vietnam Students Association in Ho Chi Minh City hosted a Tet celebration on Wednesday for autistic and mentally-impaired children at the Khai Tri center in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City.
Da Nang city donors have given Tet gifts to Co Tu ethnic people in Hoa Vang mountain district and other poor people. Da Nang authorities have allocated 2.3 million USD for policy beneficiaries, poor people, and Co Tu ethnic people in Hoa Bac commune.
