EC chief warns of anti-European forces meddling in Brexit vote
(VOVWORLD) -European Council President Donald Tusk on Tuesday warned that anti-European forces seek to interfere in elections across Europe, especially the European Parliament elections scheduled to take place in May, after influencing the referendum on Britain leaving the European Union, known as Brexit.

Mr Tusk told reporters there are external anti-European forces seeking – openly or secretly – to influence the democratic choices of Europeans, as was the case with Brexit and a number of other votes across Europe. He called on everyone who supports the European Parliament elections to prevent outside forces from deciding key issues or leadership positions in Europe.
