EC, UK have constructive meeting
(VOVWORLD) - European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and British Prime Minister Theresa May said their meeting in Brussels on Wednesday was constructive and they will meet again next week to evaluate Brexit negotiations.
Both officials spoke of no change to the Brexit deal, but mentioned the possibility of alternative arrangements or adjustments in attached political conditions. Both sides are working on suitable legal assurances for the Northern Ireland border.
The UK is scheduled to leave the EU in less than 6 weeks on March 29.
