Deputies praised the fulfillment of all 12 targets set by the NA, relating to steady economic growth, macro-economic stability, inflation control, and stronger economic balances. Dang Ngoc Nghia, a deputy for Thua Thien Hue province, believed that the national GDP will reach 6.78% higher than the target set by the NA: “During the remaining months of the year, the achievements made so far in 2019 will be a positive harbinger in achieving the goals set at the Party Congress and by the NA. I believe the government will continue in its flexible, resolute management to realize all the set targets.”

The same day, the deputies discussed next year’s socio-economic development plan and budget allocation, as well as development programs for mountainous ethnic areas, tax payment resolutions, and funding for healthcare and health insurance.
