Egypt and France strengthen cooperation
(VOVworld) – On Sunday, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with French Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Jean Marie Le Guen in Cairo to discuss Egyptian-French bilateral relations and regional issues.

Both sides agreed to continue to boost bilateral relations in all realms, especially economics, military, and parliamentary cooperation. They also mentioned the Middle East and North Africa crisis, focusing on the latest situations in Libya and Syria. Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said that Egypt and France will enhance joint military exercises to effectively cooperate in the fights against terrorism and illegal migration. Egypt plans to buy a 600-million-euro French military satellite. French Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Jean Marie Le Guen hoped to boost the exchange of experts between parliamentary bodies of both countries.
