(VOVworld) - Egypt's new government of Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahleb was sworn in Saturday with the presence of Defence Minister Abdel Fatah El-Sisi, who is expected to run for the upcoming presidential election. The new cabinet incluces 20 ministers from former Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi's government and 11 new ones including Ministers of Finance, Healthcare, Judiciary, Electricity, and Housing.

This is Egypt's sixth government since its 2011 uprising that overthrew President Hosni Mubarak, and the 2^nd government since the July 3^rd coup that toppled President Mohamed Morsi’s government. The new cabinet is responsible for organizing the presidential election in mid April and continuing the roadmap of post-Morsi political transition proposed by the army.
