This is Egypt's sixth government since its 2011 uprising that overthrew President Hosni Mubarak, and the 2nd government since the July 3rd coup that toppled President Mohamed Morsi’s government. The new cabinet is responsible for organizing the presidential election in mid April and continuing the roadmap of post-Morsi political transition proposed by the army.
