(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam Red Cross Society on Monday decided to provide initial emergency aid in cash and goods worth 30,000 USD to about 900 households severely affected by Typhoon Yagi in Quang Ninh province and Hai Phong city.

On Tuesday, a working group of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society will directly visit and give the relief to disadvantaged households affected by the typhoon in the two hardest hit localities.
