End-of-war declaration is instrumental to breaking stalemate on Korean peninsula
(VOVWORLD) - South Korea's Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum on Tuesday held a press conference with foreign reporters at the Seoul Foreign Correspondents Club to brief them on the pandemic situation and other issues.

He told reporters that inter-Korean relations have seen significant achievements but there remain obstacles denuclearization and a stalemate on the Korean Peninsula.
Prime Minister Kim said declaring an end to the war would provide the best impetus to break the current stalemate and revive the dialogue.
Such a declaration wouldn’t mean that the issue is resolved immediately, simply that “the agendas should reflect the absolute need for dialogue on the Korean Peninsula, put an end to hostilities and nuclear ambitions, and restore peace on the Korean Peninsula through mutual trust.”
