(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son has discussed with Bashkortostan leaders ways to promote bilateral cooperation and increase Vietnam’s investment in Bashkortostan, Russia.

At Son’s meetings with President Rustem Khamitov, Prime Minister Rustem Mardanov, and Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov during his recent visit to the Republic of Bashkortostan, the two sides discussed the possibilities to implement bilateral industrial-agricultural projects. They expressed their belief in further growth of bilateral ties. Prime Minister Mardanov promised to support the Vietnamese community in Bashkortostan. Ambassador Son urged the two countries to increase trade exchanges, especially when the Vietnam-Eurasian Free Trade Agreement took effect.
