(VOVworld) – The Vietnam National Committee for the Elderly reviewed its performance since the beginning of the year and discussed plans for the remaining months in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Reports said that the relevant ministries and sectors have cared for elderly people’s material and spiritual lives and created the right conditions for them to engage in social activities in their places of residence. In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan called for better implementation of the Law on the Elderly and the completion of a number of projects to support elderly people.
