(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Trade, VCCI, and the Tanzanian Investment Center co-organized a round-table discussion between Vietnamese and Tanzanian businesses on Tuesday.

Speaking at the event, Tanzanian President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete said the Tanzanian enterprises come to Vietnam to seek cooperative opportunities and boost bilateral trade and investment relations. He said Tanzania, as a member of the African Economic Association consisting of 14 members, is a gateway for Vietnamese enterprises to access the 400-million-population market.
VCCI Vice Chairman Hoang Van Dung said Vietnam and Tanzania have many investment opportunities in agriculture, fishery, mining, pharmacy, healthcare, and education.
