(VOVworld)- A workshop on creating closer links between entrepreneurs and journalists in updating developments in the ASEAN Economic Community opened in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday.

The workshop’s participants urged domestic enterprises to increase cooperation with one another and with journalists to learn more about international markets amidst Vietnam’s rapid international integration. Phan Thi Hong Xuan is President of Vietnam-Southeast Asia Friendship Association: “We need to increase links between entrepreneurs and journalists to link efforts to successfully develop the ASEAN Economic Community. We need to provide updates on how enterprises in other countries prepare to join the community so that Vietnamese enterprises will not be left behind and can prepare for challenges as well as opportunities to build ASEAN”.
