The contest organizers were the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Party Central Committee’s Communications and Education Commission, the Central Theoretical Council, the Communist Review, the People's Newspaper and the Vietnam Journalists Association.

After more than eight months of launching, the contest attracted more than 116,000 entries. The organizers awarded 12 A prizes, 20 B prizes, 30 C prizes, and 40 consolation prizes. 20 authors or author groups who are Youth Union members and young people with good quality articles were given prize of prospect and there were 15 excellent collective prizes.

Hoang Thi Nguyet Nga, a lecturer of Phu Tho Provincial School of Politics, wins the A prize. She said: “We collected a lot of information, evaluation, domestic and international public opinion around the Party General Secretary’s article as materials to write our entries. Through the competition, I found myself adding practical knowledge that is very important for a political theory lecturer. Political theory combined with practice will help illustrate the content of my lecture.”
