(VOVworld) – The European Commission announced Thursday it will provide 1.7 million Syrian refugees 180 million EUR for education.

41 million EUR will be used for joint education and healthcare programs of the World Food Program and UNICEF in Syria. Syrian refugees in Jordan will receive 66 million EUR, of which 45 million will be given to Jordan’s Education Ministry to teach Syrian students. 73 million EUR will be given to the Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
