Europe is racing to fill its gas storage ahead of winter and build a buffer in case Russia further restricts supplies in retaliation for European support for Ukraine.
Gas supplies from Russia to many EU countries have already been reduced, and many European officials fear Russia may completely cut off supplies to the EU.
