Speaking at the ongoing European Alpbach Forum in Austria, Mr. Jean-Claude Juncker said that the imprisonment of intellectuals, scientists and journalists that Turkey carried out after the failed coup was not an anti-terror measure.
Earlier this month, the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said his government could stop helping to stem the flow of refugees and migrants to Europe if the 28-nation bloc failed to relax travel rules for Turks from October.
