Leaders of the world’s eight largest economies held an online conference on the euro crisis on Thursday, the day before the G8 summit takes place in the US.
The leaders of France, Germany, Italy and the UK as well as the Chairman of the European Union agreed that funding and growth adjustments are necessary to deal with the crisis. They also agreed on the summit’s agenda, showed supported the US presidency of the G8 and agreed on the importance of expanding trade relations between the US and the EU.
