(VOVWORLD) - The EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) will be a strong driving force for the Vietnam–EU comprehensive economic partnership by abolishing 99% of import tariffs in the next 7-10 years.
Chairman of the Polish–Asian Chamber of Commerce and former Polish Deputy Prime Minister Janusz Piechocinski made the remark at meeting on ASEAN–EU economic cooperation recently held within the framework of the 10th European Economic Congress (EEC) in Warsaw, Poland.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Vu Dang Dung presented six competitive advantages of Vietnam’s economy, including its free trade deals with developed economies in North America, Europe and Asia. Vietnam’s consistent institutional and social reforms will open up new opportunities for economic growth, he said.
