(VOVworld)- An exhibition displaying more than 100 maps and documents concerning Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos opened in Hai Phong on Wednesday.

Organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications and Hai Phong Municipal People’s Committee, the exhibitions displayed evidence of Vietnam exercising and defending its sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa. There are also collections of maps, documents, and stamps highlighting Truong Sa and Hoang Sa’s socio-economic achievements over the past 100 years. The exhibition reflects the current situation and Vietnam’s wish to maintain peace, and stability in the East Sea. The exhibition runs through March 6^th. The collection of exhibits will be presented to Hai Phong city.
