Exhibition of posters on Vietnam’s sea, islands opens
(VOV) – Nearly 300 posters on Vietnam’s sea and islands are on display at an exhibition in the northern city of Hai Phong.
The exhibition aims to introduce visitors Vietnam’s land, people and its tourism potentials. Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee and a member of the Steering Board of the National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta-Hai Phong 2013, Le Khac Nam, said: "Hai Phong has an important geographical position. It is the main gate to the sea of northern provinces. It has a 125 kilometer long coastline and 4,000 square kilometer sea. The exhibited photos will give visitors better understanding about this city and help them know what to do to build and defend the country".
The exhibition is considered the highlight of the National Tourism Year of the Red River Delta-Hai Phong 2013 and Vietnam’s week of sea and islands to be held next month in Hai Phong.
