(VOVworld) – 100 maps, objects and documents on Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos are on display at an exhibition on Phu Quoc island sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Kien Giang People’s Committee.

The exhibitions aim to show the firm historical and legal evidence confirming Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos. On display are valuable documents from Vietnam’s feudal era from the 17^th to early 20^th century which show Vietnam’s continuous sovereignty over those two archipelagos. 4 Chinese atlases, a world atlas set, and 102 Western publications from the 18^th to the 19^th century show Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos as belonging to Vietnam.
