Exhibition spotlights Truc Lam Zen Buddhist sect
(VOVWORLD) - The cultural space of the Truc Lam Zen Buddhist sect is being publicized through an exhibition which opened in Bac Giang province on Thursday.

On display are 200 photos, documents and artefacts featuring Bac Giang’s history, the founding of the Truc Lam Zen Buddhist sect, UNESCO-recognized wooden blocks, and household items from the Ly and Tran dynasties from the 11th to 14th centuries. The Truc Lam Zen sect was founded by King Monk Tran Nhan Tong who ruled Vietnam in the late 13th century.
For the exhibition, the organising board have debuted the book “Relic and scenic sites of Tay Yen Tu” introducing 12 sites on the slopes of Tay Yen Tu mountain, including Vinh Nghiem and Am Vai pagoda.
