At the 9th National External Information Service Awards ceremony in Hanoi on Thursday, PM Chinh said interesting stories about Vietnam should be popularized so that international friends will better understand and support Vietnam.
“The external information service has grown impressively, with updated, comprehensive, and high-quality stories that help the international community understand Vietnam’s policies, rally international support for Vietnam’s stance on international issues, and promote Vietnam’s land, people, history, and culture worldwide. The external information service also helps fight misinformation and distortions by hostile and reactionary forces,” said PM Chinh.
This year’s Awards received more than 1,400 entries, a record figure. They covered Vietnam’s most important political and socio-economic events and external affairs, along with Party and State policies, national achievements, and the beauty of Vietnam’s land, people and culture.
