(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee's President Nguyen Thien Nhan has praised Binh Dinh province for its efforts in boosting socio-economic development and urged for more attention to building cooperatives.

At a meeting with Binh Dinh provincial authorities on Wednesday, Mr. Nhan stressed the important role of the cooperatives in linking local markets with business partners. Mr. Nhan hailed the province’s implementation of the oil refinery project at Nhon Hoi economic zone.

Earlier, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan visited the Nhon Tho 2 and Phuoc Loc agricultural cooperatives and met with fishermen, teachers and border soldiers in the province.

On Thursday, Mr. Nhan visited Ha Van Do, a veteran in Van Long commune, Van Ninh District and heroic mother Pham Thi Tra in Ninh Tho commune, Ninh Hoa town. Nhan visited 2 fishing families in Phuoc Dong commune, Nha Trang city to explore their ship building and fisheries career. The Fatherland Front granted each family 300 million dong to support their ship building. Nguyen Thien Nhan then visited the Naval Force Brigade No 189.
