(VOVworld) –A festival took place in Phu Quoc island district, Kien Giang province to promote the local fish sauce.

The event, part of a communication week of Phu Quoc fish sauce starting Wednesday, attracted a large number of fish sauce producers and sellers. This is also a platform for them to further publicise economic and cultural values as well as the making of their hometown specialty. Ho Kim Lien is the Chairwoman of the Board of  Directors of Khai Hoan Company: "Through the festival, we want to promote our Khai Hoan – branded fish sauce to domestic and international customers and help buyers recognise Phu Quoc fish sauce products."
