(VOVWORLD) - Two emergency field hospitals were completed on Wednesday in Bac Ninh and Bac Giang province, Vietnam's current coronavirus hotspots.

The hospitals are in Bac Ninh city and Bac Giang’s Tan Yen district. Each has 300 beds and can treat a maximum of 500 patients.
Associate Professor Doctor Nguyen Xuan Kien, Head of the Army Medical Department, said, “We’ve completed the main functions: health examination, resuscitation, emergency care, testing, and non-emergency treatment. Both hospitals are now ready to receive patients. Each has 130 doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and logistics workers, all of them fully protected.”
