(VOVWORLD) - The fifth Vietnam-Japan cultural and trade exchange festival concluded in Can Tho city on Monday.

During the three-day event, Vietnamese and Japanese companies’ introduced cultural experiences, folk games, and cuisines and showcased products and services in agriculture, tourism, restaurants, hotels, consulting, services, food, and consumer goods.
Japan introduced traditional Yosakoi dancing, wagashi sweets, Haiku poetry, and origami paper folding, while Vietnam introduced waterway tourism in the south, Vovinam martial arts, and amateur singing in the southern region.
Director of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in Can Tho Nguyen Phuong Lam said the festival contributes to Vietnam-Japan friendship and gives Can Tho and other Mekong Delta localities a chance to popularize their image.
This year’s festival drew more than 300 domestic and foreign firms, 240 of them from Japan.
